ADAIR, OKLA.—Trécé Inc., a leading American manufacturer of insect monitoring systems and pheromones, announced two moves aimed satisfying the growing demand for pest management products by California nut growers—including the hiring of a new California sales coordinator and the introduction of two new products designed to protect almond, pistachio and walnut crops.

“Trécé’s close attention to research and development and customer service enable it to respond quickly to the needs of our customers, “said Bill Lingren, Trécé founder and chief executive officer. “These latest moves in California are just two more examples of our continual efforts to enhance our sales and customer service capacity, and to expand offerings designed to control pests of particular concern to our clients.”

Karin Kryski, who will assume the position of California sales coordinator, has a broad background that includes sales management, pest control and farming. A licensed Pest Control Advisor, Kryski has served as Northern California sales manager for Plant Food Systems, as an agricultural technician for the California Department of Food and Agriculture Plant Health & Pest Prevention Branch, and as farm assistant manager at Kryski Farms in California’s Central Valley.

“Karin’s combined experience in sales, pest control and hands-on farming provides her with a level of insight that greatly enhances our ability to better serve growers in our California market,” Lingren said. “She is sure to be a valuable resource as we continue to grow and expand our operations in the state.”

In addition to the new staff appointment, Trécé also announced the roll-out two new combination products:

  • CIDETRAK CMDA + NOW MESO, which provides dual mating disruption for codling moth and navel orangeworm control in walnuts.
CIDETRAK NOW MESO mating disruption for navel orangeworm control in almonds and pistachios.

“Trécé’s new CIDETRAK offerings represent significant addition to our product line,” said Lingren.  “CIDETRAK CMDA + NOW MESO and CIDETRAK NOW MESO now give growers two new tools that incorporate the latest science to fight the increasing threat of codling moth and navel orangeworm in three key nut products.”
