PHEROCON OFM Lures & Traps
for Oriental fruit moth, Grapholita molesta, in stone fruit and pome fruit
Oriental fruit moth (OFM), Grapholita molesta, is a major pest of stone fruit and pome fruit. Trécé’s PHEROCON line of monitoring lures and traps includes several options. Ranging from original quality pheromone only septa lures with the OFM Red and OFM L2TM Grey, to our multigender attractant with the OFM COMBOTM DUALTM. The many options are designed to fully cover your IPM program objectives.
The pheromone based OFM Red and OFM L2 Grey septa lures contain the OFM sex pheromone and capture only males. With the addition of pear ester kairomone (DA) to the Grey septa lure, the OFM COMBO DUAL captures both genders in traps and allows for monitoring in mating disrupted orchards. These lures can be used in the following PHEROCON traps: VI DELTA, 1C, or IIC.
