Small Design Shifts – Massive Waste Reduction

Continuous innovation at Trécé extends beyond pest management efficacy. It drives how our engineering and R&D teams design, engineer, and package our products to protect the environments we serve.

Through smart, targeted updates across our product lines, we achieved major material and plastic reductions:

  • 55 Tons of Plastic Saved: We switched to a streamlined CIDETRAK® rotating hook hanger design. This eliminated approximately 55 tons of plastic from our production footprint.

  • 15 Tons of Material Reduced: We optimized our STORGARD® II and PHEROCON® VI trap constructions, cutting an additional 15 tons of raw material.

  • Streamlined STORGARD Packaging: We shifted from bulky kit cartons to lightweight foil pouches across the STORGARD line. This slashed packaging waste and shipping weight across global supply chains.

Trécé saved 70+ tons of material through practical, sustainable redesigns—all while maintaining the high-performance reliability pest management professionals depend on.
