Trécé recently hosted its annual team-building tournament, bringing together employees from every department for an afternoon of food and friendly competition. Plans originally called for kickball, but a rainy weather pivot brought the entire event indoors for an afternoon of dodgeball—right on our own warehouse floor.

This annual tournament is a favorite company tradition. Staff members across the company sign up and are randomly assigned to teams. As a result, colleagues get a unique opportunity to connect outside of their daily routines.

The festivities kicked off with a catered barbecue lunch for the entire company. Following lunch, the teams took to the warehouse court for a double-elimination tournament. While the primary goal of the afternoon was simply boosting morale and enjoying time together, the competitive spirit on the floor was very real.

Our custom event t-shirts may have read “Kickball,” but our agile teams didn’t skip a beat switching to dodgeball mode.

Congratulations to this year’s championship team! In addition to well-deserved prize money and ultimate bragging rights, the winners took home the official trophy. Notably, this was a custom piece designed and 3D-printed by Trécé’s own Engineering team.
